It is a report on workshop on policy and law relating to outer space resources which took place at the McGill University in Montreal, Canada in June 2006. The workshop was divided into five sessions: Session 1: State-of-the-art technologies and international cooperation. Session 2: The role of private actors. Session 3: Environmental concerns. Session 4: The adequacy of the current legal and regulatory framework. Session 5: the acceptability of the Moon agreement and the road ahead.
