This article discusses, particularly with a view to providing tips to counsel both for Chinese State- Owned Enterprises and their counterparties, best practice and advice on how to avoid traps in their dealings throughout the course of a contractual relationship. Advice is given on issues arising in contract drafting and performance, dispute resolution and the enforcement of arbitral awards.
