This article discusses the development of and prospects for ODR in Asia. ODR is covered not in its broad sense but by reference to a process in which all aspects of the proceedings are conducted online, through the technology-based platforms of a variety of providers, supported by the human element in the administration of the cases and decision-making. The trajectory of ODR in Asia is traced through a survey of developments in China, the Hong Kong SAR, India, Japan, Singapore and Thailand.
