This article reviews selected recent judicial decisions and promulgations of Mainland Chinese courts on the recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards and concludes that the courts have consistently adopted a pro-arbitration and pro-enforcement approach. It also takes stock of Mainland China’s current legal regime making interim measures by Chinese courts available to parties to Hong Kong administered arbitrations.
