May 2024 saw the 25th anniversary of the publication of Asian Dispute Review, the first practitioner-oriented journal to be devoted exclusively to arbitration and alternative dispute resolution in the Asia region. In this reflective article, which considers the history and status of the journal from 2015 to the present day, the Consulting and Technical Editor of Asian DR considers its continuing role as part and parcel of dispute resolution commentary and current intelligence, not only in Hong Kong but also in both the Asia-Pacific and the wider Asia region, as well as globally. A number of highlights of the journal’s coverage and of its future prospects are also discussed.
