This article discusses the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Guideline on the Interviewing of Prospective Arbitrators (April 2007) with particular reference to international commercial arbitration. Comparative reference is made to existing international codes of arbitral ethics with regard to the interviewing of prospective arbitrators.
