It involves in all kinds of industries such as medicine and business. Many start-up firms that cannot have other sources of fundings aim to raise money from the public in this way. It does open up a new way that can give those small firms an opportunity to breathe. However, this mode of crowdfunding is being stigmatized on which the public often connect it with ‘fraud’ and ‘liar’. In fact, any mechanism including crowdfunding could become the tool of exploitation without a strict regulation. Hence, the pivotal issues are operation and supervision rather than crowdfunding itself.
