This paper aims to examine the concept of good faith as a criterion for evaluating the conduct of public administrations and private entities, making a comparison between the legal characteristics of good faith in Italy and those expressed by European legislation, in order to verify any divergences that may act as an obstacle to the completion of that process of Europeanization of the Italian legal system.
