The newly negotiated US Mexico Canada Agreement [USMCA in the US, following the TPP tradition of not mentioning Free or Trade] changes very little of significance in NAFTA beyond adding some items already mostly agreed on by all three countries in TPP. The negotiation took so long that the Democrats took control of the US House of Representatives, raising interesting questions about whether they will vote to ratify without changes in labour and environmental enforcement, pharmaceutical IP, and possibly more.
