Vietnam’s agricultural exports have been a pivotal driver of economic growth, especially in the context of international integration. Despite significant progress, the country’s agricultural exports to the European Union (EU) face several challenges, notably the reliance on raw products and limited technological advancements. This study assesses Vietnam’s agricultural exports to EU countries from 2001 to 2022, focusing on the impact of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA). The findings underscore substantial growth in Vietnam-EU trade, particularly in agricultural products, and pinpoint the key obstacles hindering further expansion. Based on these insights, the study offers policy recommendations for Vietnamese businesses and farmers to enhance competitiveness and seize opportunities in the EU market.
