This article analyses transnational company agreements (TCAs) as a new form of social dialogue in multinational companies and examines why a legal framework for TCAs has not yet been introduced at European level. It argues that a reopening of the discussion on the introduction of such a legal framework should be promoted in order to strengthen the social dialogue in multinational companies and raise social standards in Europe
