This article analyses the framework for application of the New York Convention in Spain, as well as the framework for the procedure of recognition, bearing in mind that Spain did not raise objections or make reserves when acceding to the New York Convention. Furthermore, the regime for adoption and recognition of precautionary measures is explored. Finally, the non-binding character of awards by the parties is analysed as the fifth measure for refusal of the exequatur of article V.I.e) of the Convention.
