Mediation is still little known and used in Spain in the commercial sphere. Nevertheless, a global perspective allows us to deduce that mediation, as a way of solving many conflicts of companies, will be developed and also implanted among us eventually. Our arbitrators and commercial lawyers may feel apprehension at this prospect. It will undoubtedly mean changes in their professional life. And they are going to need to expand the range of solutions to be offered to clients in order to be able to find the most suitable to each conflict. Furthermore, these changes can be ultimately beneficial for them, and a way to discover a more satisfactory legal practice. This article explains this approach.
