This article aims to analyze the use of arbitration as a suitable dispute resolution method in the field of information technology services contracts, both in international and domestic projects. The paper considers the main issues typically involved in this kind of disputes from different perspectives, including the facts, the evidence and the procedural and substantial law to be applied, and on that basis assesses the potential benefits that the use of arbitration may provide in order to achieve a satisfactory treatment and resolution of the disputes.
