The article refers to the summoning, by the highest authority of sport, to a meeting between the President of the Football League and the President of the Spanish Football Federation, in view of the different disagreements between them, at the official residence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Palacio de Viana, proposed by the situation arising from the COVID 19 pandemic, which led to the establishment of different agreements to shape the future of sport in Spain and in particular of football as well as the relations between the Federation and the clubs.
That meeting, held at the request of the President of the Consejo Superior de Deportes, is conformed or presented as a mediation, really without fulfilling the requirements established in Spain for it, giving rise, among other agreements, to the establishment of a code of conduct.
The author, exposing that situation and pronouncing on the way to conform it, refers to the transcendence that has as a base of a pronouncement in favor of the ADR systems, understanding the mediation as an initial step and source of the arbitration solutions.
