Although arbitration is a
popular procedure, arbitrators themselves are becoming increasingly subject to
criticism. While largely exaggerated, such criticism reveals certain weaknesses
of the institution. The article attempts to demonstrate this, by describing

arbitral tribunal and the difficulties they come across, at each stage of the
proceeding. All things considered, the objective should be to strengthen their
status and facilitate their work.
