This paper presents the discussions of the third Francarbi’s workshop, which gathered 30 arbitration specialists in Paris on 8 December 2017 to study, on the basis of real examples, the theme of documents production in arbitration. This is not a new academic study but an analysis of terms of reference, procedural orders, requests for documents production, showing how, in practice, one deals with, inter alia, the definition of what a document is, when a request for documents production may be filed, the criteria to evaluate the merits of those requests, the consequences of non-production, etc.
