Summary
1. Only a law that concerns the essential interests of the State or of the collectivity or that establishes, in private law, the legal fundaments of the economic or moral order of the society, is a law of public policy.
2. A court decision that gives an interpretation of an award that is compatible with its terms does not violate the faith due to deeds (la foi due aux actes).
