The metaverse offers a
new virtual world in which to interact with each other and could seriously
impact the way in which many economic sectors operate. Naturally, where there
is economic activity, there will inevitably be disputes, so even though the
adoption of the metaverse is still at an early stage, we can already envision

arbitration landscape. This article explores, in particular, the potential
types of disputes that could arise in connection with the metaverse, the
technological consequences it could have in arbitration, and some of the legal
challenges that arbitrations related to the metaverse could face.
